If we s...Please let the klaam in its original form!
If we say "Gustaakh Akhian Kithay ja Laryan" Means we emotionally talk about our own inferiority in paying respect to Hazrat Muhammad(SAW), and not the condition or feeling of Hazrat Pir Mehar Ali Shah.I think, you misperceived that by reciting this klaam we actually explains the feelings of Hazrat Pir Mehar Ali Shah. Sir, You can take my words,"We are not wise enough to interpret feelings of Hazrat Pir Mehar Ali Shah". Gustahk Akyan is indeed more respectful to us than Mushtaq Akhyan.
hopefully you got my point.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02226713744825442827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4010414813496277263.post-60567703715231060522013-11-18T12:35:44.870-05:002013-11-18T12:35:44.870-05:00I have been told in the Sufi gathering that everyo...I have been told in the Sufi gathering that everyone should now sing:

"Mushtaq akhiyaan kithay jaa lariyaan"

instead of "Gustaakh", the poet took that for himself, while reciting on the behalf of such a pious and known sufi, one can be more respectful.

Just a humble point.

Sohailabshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12186448558408182003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4010414813496277263.post-75197796560412806402013-07-19T08:27:24.321-04:002013-07-19T08:27:24.321-04:00though I don't like to say like that but I am ...though I don't like to say like that but I am compelled to say that, I am pained to see all over that, kalaam of great people like Mian Muhammad Bakhsh, Bulley Shah, Bahu all has been distorted, you will hear various versions of same sher, with words twisted. While this should not have been and it is very sad to say that in this famous naat of Jenab Pir Mehr Ali Saab, Aabida sings "Gustaakh akhyan kithay ja arhyan" while it is for even a blind man that "Gustaakh akhyan kithay ja laRhyan".
I ask why this big a mistake, not a mistake this is a blunder and people should take utmost care in reading/reciting/writing kalaam of great people.

Farooq, Jammu, Delhi/farooqhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07953904837199265285noreply@blogger.com
