The following extract from a recital in Tunis is a good example of what she especially liked about them. I too love the classical element that differentiates them from many other qawwals.

An intense, melodious sargam by the three great Qawwals. Munshiji even throws in a characteristic gamak. The music, these ornamentations, and the kalam fill the huge, spacious theatre creating an ethereal effect. A precious video recording. Thanks for sharing.
