The following is a just a clip from a larger recital where it was used as a pre-amble, but I wanted to share it because of it's beauty and difference in style from the more familiar Pathanay Khan rendition.

میڈا عشق وی تُوں، میڈا یار وی تُوں

میڈا دین وی تُوں، ایمان وی تُوں

میڈا جسم وی تُوں، میڈا روح وی تُوں
میڈا قلب وی تُوں، جند جان وی تُوں

میڈا کعبہ قبلہ مسجد منبر
مصحف تے قرآن وی تُوں

میڈے فرض فریضے حج زکاتاں
صوم صلات اذان وی تُوں

میڈی زہد عبادت طاعت تقویٰ
علم وی تُوں، عرفان وی تُوں

میڈا ذکر وی تُوں، میڈا فکر وی تُوں
میڈا ذوق وی تُوں وجدان وی تُوں

میڈا سانول مٹھڑا شام سلوُنا
من موہن جانان وی تُوں

میڈا مرشد ہادی پیر طریقت

Kiya haal sunanvan dil daa - Kaafi

Ustad Hussain Buksh Khan Dhadhi was one of the disciple of
the great Ustad Ashiq Ali Khan of the Patiyala Ghurana.
This Video Was recorded in Multan. Khan sahib's son Sakhawat Ali Khan
is also a singer as is his promising young grandson Ahmad Raza,
residing in Uch Shareef, near Rahim Yar Khan.
Tabla by Ustad Shabeer Khan s/o Ustad Mashooq Ali Khan Bhedi potra from Multan.
He was shagird of Ustad Mian Qadir Buksh Khan.
Sarangi Shufkat Ali Khan s/o ustad Munshi Khan from Multan.

Zahida Parveen sings Kafi by Khwaja Ghulam Farid خواجہ غلام فرید

Kya Haal Sunawan Dil Da
Koi Mehram Raaz Na Milda

Zahida Parveen زاہدہ پروین was born at Amritsar, Punjab, India in 1920's.
She was initiated into music by Baba Taaj saranginawaz (from Kapurthala) and Hussain Bakhsh Khan saranginawaz (from Amritsar). Then she became close to the Patiala Gharana (family) of musicians as she became a shagird of Ustad Ashiq Ali Khan. She became renowned due to her expertise in various forms of music. She was especially well-known in singing kafis (a form of sufi poems in Saraiki, Punjabi, and Sindhi languages).

She had a special style, which will be evident in this upload. She was considered by many as the best kafi singer. She was also good in singing other classical music forms and ghazals. She was also very particular about getting her daughter (Shahida Parveen) trained in a similar style. She made her a shagird of Ustad Akhtar Hussain Khan (father of Fateh Ali Khan, late Amanat Ali Khan, and Hamid Ali Khan). Zahida Parveen died in 1975. Shahida Parveen also passed away on 13 March 2003.
